Meet John Purcell!

Starting as a trainee in 1975 and working his way up to a Project Manager less than 10 years later, John has a wealth of experience within the industry spanning nearly 48 years. After various consultancy roles John joined Kinetic IT in 2011. Now, as the companies Technical Director he is responsible for providing technical support, understanding project goals and developing plans and work schedules that will achieve them. He oversees the work of CAD drafters, making sure that every drawing is legible and professional and adheres to applicable project standards.

John has travelled the worldwide as an avid fisherman and his personal best was a 350lb White Sturgeon caught in Canada. He enjoys watching vintage TV with a glass or two of Jam Shed Shiraz, and some of his favourite films include Pulp Fiction, Planes Trains and Automobiles and Enter the Dragon. In his spare time he enjoys doing some DIY and has an interest in nature and birds where he has multiple feeders and bird boxes in his garden which sees many returning visitors every year.
